Toys and Books Drive

The AA joined hands with Hong Kong Neighbourhood Advice Action Council - Tung Chung Integrated Services (NAAC) to run a "Toys and Books Drive" from November 2010 to January 2011. The AA colleagues donated over 40 large boxes of gifts, which were given to less well-off families or placed at the "Children's Corner" at the NAAC centre for children's enjoyment.

The AA colleagues visited the elderly in Tung Chung on 30 October 2010. They chatted with the aged residents and delivered heart-warming messages from the AA. It was a kick-off for the Care for the Elderly Programme coorganised by the AA Staff Club and Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Tung Chung Integrated Services to show care for our neighbouring communities. At least one visit per month will be arranged.
